book swapping shelves in Ireland?

Hi,

I'm going to Ireland in the summer and thought it would be nice to be able to swap the books I've read for books I don't know yet. Is there a site where you can locate the shelves beforehand? If not, maybe everybody who reads this could tell me about a book swapping shelf he/she knows in Ireland, then I could collect the information.
Thanks in advance!

Bye,
Christina

Welcome to Bookcrossing.
Check the tourist information in the places you will visit for Little Free Libraries.

Also if you go to the 'go hunting' page you find OBCZ's in Dublin, Fingal and Stoneybatter.

Most hotels, B & Bs or Hostels do have a little bookshelf to swap, so you shouldn't get out of reading material.

Here you can find out where books have been released recently. Keep in mind that a lot of books will not be there for very long.
http://www.openbookcase.org/map This site is a collection of Open Book cases. It does not show too much in Ireland, but it is growing and everybody can ad to it.
Does that help a little?
Any more questions?
