Bookcrossing's Early Christmas Surprise to Me
My Latest Release Caught After a Day in the Wild
by ModMouseJanuary 8, 2010
My latest release was a copy of Arthur Miller's
The Crucible which I bought at a local used bookstore, read, and eventually released at a nearby park. More often than not, after I release a book, I never find out whatever happens to it after the release.
Imagine my surprise when I checked my email on Christmas Eve afternoon only to find out that my latest release had been caught the day after it had been released! This has been my first release to be caught since my return to Pittsburg, Kansas, after having lived for a short while in St. Louis. It was my fourth book ever to be found and journalled.
To whoever found the book: if you are reading this, thank you for letting me know that the book has made it safely. I wish you all the best for the new year and much happy reading. And thank you for my BookCrossing Christmas present!
