Book Aid International is at it again, with a marvelous way to get books into the hands of those without them. A book token is a wonderful gift, but this is a book token with a difference. You can give the gift of a token ‑ but people in the developing world receive the books! Just five easy steps!

  1. You email tokens AT bookaid.org or click to join the Reverse Book Club

  2. Book Aid International sends you a Reverse Book Token

  3. You donate £10 (per token) to Book Aid International (Current conversion to USD a little over $17. For conversion rates of GBP to your local currency, click here)

  4. Book Aid International sends you a Reverse Book Token

  5. You personalise the token with a short message and send as a gift to friends or family

  6. Book Aid International sends 8 books to people in the developing world on their behalf

Book Aid International is now accepting requests, so please email tokens AT bookaid.org with your name, address and the number of tokens you would like. Please also let them know in your email that you are a BookCrosser! There is no need to send your donation until you receive the tokens. Unfortunately, they are unable to confirm each request, but tokens will be sent out within a week of receiving your order, when your donation will be requested.

Book Aid International is a UK-registered charity and has been working for over fifty years to get books into the hands of readers who need them. In the developing world, hundreds of thousands of schoolchildren, teachers, doctors, nurses, lawyers, mechanics, farmers and book lovers have their lives enriched by the access to books and information Book Aid International provides.
