Part of five boxes of books left behind with the untimely passing of my husband’s beloved sister Janis, this book will be released at the Keep it Simple Stupid Art Gallery and Coffeeshop in Old Town to go out and share a good read with the world. Squidgete and ABQbobcat are the people in charge of maintaining this official bookcrossing zone.
Janis was a special person, head teacher in the Special Ed department at a reservation school. At her funeral, a number of her students insisted on being her pallbearers. Despite it not being a Navajo tradition, they also decorated a tree at the site of her car crash. (See descanso in wikipedia for more information.) A busy teacher who always had time to fight for her students’ needs, she relaxed with a book constantly in her hand, often a trashy romance when she was at home.

I adopted this at a recent MeetUp after NMReader suggested that someone doing the "By the Numbers" challenge might want some of these series romances. I must say that the guy in the cover photo looks NOTHING like the traditional Santa! I don't even want to know how St. Nick comes in to one of these "intrigue" romances.

Going to spazcat.

I am not a romance reader, but the real Santa could put the guy on this cover under my tree any time!
