Saw this in a charity shop. This version dates back to 1971, so I wonder if there will be some language which would not be acceptable now? I haven't read this book before to my knowledge and although the film has been shown multiple times on TV at Christmas and I have seen bits of it, however not the whole lot!

I really enjoyed this book and it has a fascinating story line. Apparently the Disney film that was on every Christmas is based on it, however there is no "bobbing under the sea" etc in this book and it looks like they have totally changed the story line, which I think is a shame given the strength of the story.
