I've been coming here to Crackskull's a lot lately, to sit and read and drink hot chocolate... and, sometimes, to buy books to bookcross!

This is one of those books where you really need to pay attention to every conversation, anecdote, and off-hand comment, because you never know what's going to end up being important later. See my full review here.

Conversation with the girl behind the counter:

Me: "Hey, you know that little bookcase in the corner of the other room there? Are those, like, for sale, or...?"
Her: "No, those are just kind of interior decorating. You're welcome to pick one up and look at it if you want, but they're not for sale."
Me: "Can I leave you one?"
Her: "... Sure!"
