This was such a good thriller told from both sides of a young married couple in alternate chapters. The missing wife speaks via diary sheets from the time prior to her disappearance and the husband speaks from the day his wife disappeared on their fifth wedding anniversary. Very clever thriller. I was alternately on the side of the wife, then the husband as the storyline shifted and twisted pulling you over from one to the other. Both characters were seriously flawed.

This is an excellent thriller, hard to put down once you start reading. But, it is a bit sordid in some places and quite an insight into American way of life nowadays. I was a bit disappointed with the ending though as I ended up siding with the husband!
Thanks for a good read Bookcrossing Club and dear London friend who passed the book on to me. Now sending on to a Bookcrossing friend in Germany!

The book is here now. I have a few others to read before I can start on this one, but will do so as soon as possible.
------------------
The first part of the book was totally engrossing and exciting so that I wasn’t able to put the book down. The second part then was quite a disappointment, as all those coincidences were a little far-fetched in my opinion. The third part was completely impossible. I didn't like the ending at all.
I'll pass this on to a friend in North-Germany to see what she will think about it.
