I don't remember where I got this. Little Free Library?
This is an overly complicated tale that defies belief. Teddy Clock is the survivor of two attempted murders. In the first attempt the rest of his family died. In the second his new family was targeted as well.
It works all right as a page-turner, mindless reading. When I need a break from the good stuff I sometimes go for something like this. But that doesn't mean I actually like it a lot. It's better than that romantic suspense kind of thing but doesn't come up to the better mysteries.
