This book learns us a tiny bit about another culture. How different people from different cultures always think their ways are right, and that if we aren't a bit more open minded terrible things can happen.

23.11.2023 I finally got around reading book - it's been waiting on my bookshelf for a long while. What a tragic story it was to read. The simple language made it easy to read, but the topics covered in this short book were heavy and difficult. On one side there's the personal tragedy of the main character Okonkwo - how he partly made life tragic for himself. And on the other side there's the tragedy of colonialism that affects the whole community. The pondering of individuals are not chewed into pieces, but the reader is left to figure out the backgrounds and reasons him/herself. Not exactly enjoyable book to read, but interesting and thought-provoking.
I will take good care of it and I look forward to reading it soonish
Book will continue its travels in the upcoming days
