I got this hardcover at a local Barnes and Noble. The cover has a cutout allowing one to peer into the distance through the forest, with various woodland creatures in view. There are brief, poetic descriptions of the journey through each new page, where the cut-paper artwork enhances the literally-cut-paper openings.

The artwork is just lovely, and there are wonderful little details in each page. Very handsome book!

I left this book, bagged against the elements, hanging from a tree near the handsome row of sculptures along the edge of Lovewell Pond. (It was raining at the time, but the sun's out again - typical New England weather!) Hope someone enjoys the book!
