His Whole Life
1 journaler for this copy...
Purchased today for me. Yay!
I adore Elizabeth Hay's writing and this book was no exception. Although I don't think this is my favourite of hers, I enjoyed it very much none the less. Set in the 1990s at the time of the Quebec Referendum, it's a coming of age story for young Jim and I think his mother as well. Set at the cottage in Ontario (you know I've got to love that) and in New York with things falling apart all over the place.
When Jim asked "What's the worst thing you've ever done?" I knew immediately what mine was. I just hope that remains the worst thing, because apparently all the people except for me have gotten over that. :)

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
This book was borrowed from the library soon after I released it but when I saw it back in the LFL this morning I decided to give it a new adventure. We had our August BookCrossing meeting at the park this evening. Judyslump and DrSlump were visiting from Minnesota. How lovely to meet them. Some of us took a stroll through the Leo Mol garden releasing books as we went. You'll find this one on a statue. It's not pokemon but it's a great book.
