Revenge of the Crafty Corpse (An Anastasia Pollack Crafting Mystery)
3 journalers for this copy...
Anastasia Pollack's dead louse of a spouse has left her with more bills than you can shake a crochet hook at, and teaching craft classes at her mother-in-law's assisted living center seems like a harmless way to supplement her meager income. But when Lyndella Wegner--a 98-year-old know-it-all with a penchant for ruffles and lace--is murdered, Anastasia's cantankerous mother-in-law becomes the prime suspect. Upon discovering that Lyndella's X-rated craft projects--and her scandalous behavior--made her plenty of enemies, Anastasia sets out to find the real killer before her mother-in-law ends up behind bars. --GoodReads.com Book Description
This one was pretty good. Gruesome, sometimes, but in a lighter way. Can't explain it. Had I rated this one when I finished it weeks ago, I probably would have rated it higher, but I waited too long and the book's not sticking with me since I don't remember much about it now, so it gets a lower rating because of that. I do remember it was a fun yet slightly twisted cozy.

Sending this one off to "Ms. T" as part of the Wishlist Tag Games. I hope you enjoy! :)
Thanks for sending this book off my wish list. I read Assault with a Deadly Glue Gun on my Kindle and it seemed like a cute start for a new series. I love the fighting between her mom and the mother-in-law. I know I couldn't handle it!
I enjoyed reading this book. It's fun having a new series to work on. I am looking forward to book # 4, Decoupage Can Be Deadly.
Going to fellow BCer for the Anything Goes Virtual Book Box.
This book has arrived. This was one of my selections from the Anything Goes Virtual Book Box. I haven't read any of Lois Winston's books but I do like a good mystery. I've read some stitching, knitting and cooking related mystery books in the past so I thought this crafty mystery might interest me. Thanks for sharing!
